Marvel did say they were going cosmic for this phase, and they weren't kidding around! It's great to see that a good number of MCU based TV shows will be on Disney+ starting next year. Speaking of which, Black Widow is scheduled to be released in May, while The Eternals has locked in a November release date. TV show wise, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is flying to our screens in the fall of 2020.

Which Phase 4 project are you most excited about? Leave your thoughts down below.

Marvel really deep seeded the Ten Rings and either purposefully or accidentally set them up for use in an entirely different franchise

This is a walking galaxy brain meme

Looking forward to Moon Knight the most. Hopefully She-Hulk finally brings in The Leader (who has been MIA since 2008).

@TheDoctor1225 -

That's a lot of money to spend on backpedaling from one of the most successful movies of all time

T4or and Shang Chi tickle my fancy👌🏻

What’s if? I’m also down for. Bucky and Falcon I’m most excited to see Zemo back. But I could also do with less buddy cop duos.

Looking good tho.

@regularmovieguy - idk about Shang Chi, Daniel Cretton's new film got incredibly meh reception from TIFF, and Glass Castle is meant to be pretty mediocre too. I like the cast they've gotten so far.
Thor 4 will be great, ditto Eternals (which could be the best movie in the MCU?). What If? and WandaVision are the TV stuff I can't wait for

They're really leaning into that early 80s pulp sci-fi Flash Gordon vibe for Thor, which basically earworms the theme.

I'm setting myself up for disappointment when someone in a red tank top doesn't flutter across the back of a scene on a hoverbike.

That Black Widow one feels very Mission: Impossible inspired.

Actually looking at them all I really like what they seem to be doing with all of them.

Falcon and the Winter Soldier has a very classic Cap animation, like Civil War. Highlights that the role of Captain America is in a sort of competition.

I love the changing fonts of the Loki ones. Shows that the series might not be sticking to just one tone or setting, and maybe even explores Loki's facets.

WandaVision has the TV thing going again. Out of all the shows this is the one I'm excited about. I'm really wondering what kind of pitch was brought to Marvel because everything about it sounds so unique.

Hawkeye is Matt Fraction. Nuff said.

Thor: Love and Thunder's is sooooo Flash Gordon I love it. I need some serious epic rock and roll in this movie.

and 5$ million one shot starring Ben frickin Kingsley is still a lot of money to spend on backpedaling from one of the most successful movies of all time. I just never understood where Marvel got any indication backlash from Iron Man 3 cost them anything when the fans and audience saw it more times than any comic book movie not called 'Avengers"

@tmp3

Totes forgot about Eternals. That seems like the most ambitious movie out of Phase 4.

Very excited about that.

Shang Chi I’m mostly excited about there being a king fu CBM in the mix.

And Goldfinch with 0%...honestly the trailers didn’t do anything for me but I thought with at least Deakins it would be watchable.

Are people really saying they’re going to boycott Sony? Captain Charles Boycott would be turning in his Irish grave...

Regarding Marvel's potential plans for the Ten Rings it is clear this was never intended. The entire scenario proves that they had no plans for them beyond Iron Man 3 (At best, considering they only planned for the Ten Rings to be included in Iron Man and had no long-term plans for them until fan demand demonstrated a desire for them to return)

To use the 'Ten Rings' and 'Real Mandarin' aspect as a marketting tool to advertise Shang Chi demonstrates a lack of faith in the project. They need to rely on something that they believe will get fans in seats.

Iron Man 3 proposed a rivalry between Technology (Iron Man) and (What the MCU had already established as being the furthest extent science can go) 'Magic' (Mandarin) and we will never get that. The main appeal of the Mandarin is gone and now they are likely going to turn him into a one-and-done villain.

@Scarilian Mandarin rings aren't magic based. Just alien rings
