Recently, Marvel Studios has released a new clip of "Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantamania," and while there is not much new footage to cover, one fresh line of dialogue spoken by Scott Lang himself is seemingly the last piece of the puzzle we have to assemble exactly what will happen.
The clip was centered around revealing shots of the Quantum Realm, new and old, playing out as a recap of what the last two trailers have shown us already. This choice makes me believe that the characters will hardly spend any time on earth at all, which furthers my other theory on this movie leading directly into "Kang Dynasty". Go see that one here
If you did not see the new clip yet, go here
A few new shots of Kang cannot prepare me for the villain's arrival into the film, and this overall universe any longer, but thanks to new footage from this clip, his plan has now been made perfectly clear.
Kang will instruct Scott to retrieve his Time Chair, or the power source to operate such a device, in order to save his daughter Cassie; my guess is Scott will do exactly what he is told, while knowingly keeping in mind Kang's intention to escape the Quantum Realm and cause wreckage.
At the last minute, Scott will grow hesitant in giving Kang what he needs, which is why in the trailer we see him with his face bloody and beaten saying
"I don't care what he can do, he is not getting out."
Right before that shot of Scott is shown, the one that cuts right into it is of Kang powering up his Time Chair, seeing those rings begin to spin in motion.
So obviously, Scott will plan on keeping Kang in the Quantum Realm, which we had all figured out, but putting Cassie's life on the line to do so is not his best fatherly moment.
