Yesterday was a big day for Universal Pictures as they officially dropped the veil on their Dark Universe with an informative press release and an epic cast portrait that featured Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, Javier Bardem, Russell Crowe, and Sofia Boutella all assembled and ready to usher in a whole new world of Gods and Monsters.
Following the announcement, two awesome new IMAX-exclusive posters were released online. The first, via Collider, sees Tom Cruise embrace his inner sense of adventure as he descends deeper and deeper into the monster's tomb, while the second, via Regal Cinemas, is a much more bloodthirsty take on one of the previous one-sheets as we see Sofia Boutella's titular villain set her sights on Cruise's Nick Morton.
UPDATE: The first clip and a new featurette have been released!
