According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony Pictures Animation is preparing a reimagining of cheeseball 80's television show MANIMAL as it's next film.

Notable primarily for being one of Stan (THE TERMINATOR, ALIENS, JURASSIC PARK) Winston's early gigs, MANIMAL revolved around lead character Dr. Jonathan Chase, a shapeshifter who used his powers to solve crimes. It lasted a mere 8 episodes.

The character also appeared in one episode of 90's superhero show NIGHT MAN.
