Dr. Hank McCoy, a mutant scientist who through a serise of experiments, caused the mutant gene within him to swell. This brought about the cat-like/ape like abilities of BEAST, leaving his mind and personality however as unchanged as ever. He is a BRILLIANT, scientist, lecturer, and genetasist, as well as brawler, and gymnast.

Grodd on the other hand, is a rogue scientific prodegy from a lost city of...."Ape city". Lol

Wanting to control all "Ape-dom" he specialised in mind control technology and in many instances tried his luck control the much inferier race: Humanity. However he was almost ALWAYS foiled by the flash, and there lies his un moving vendetta.

His IQ is one of the highest, for HIS race, which is infanantly more mentaly qualified then Humans. His technology, surpasses that of humanities as well, and even some of his own species. His brilliance does not in any way prevent him from crushing the life out of a foe. He is immmensely strong, and a capable fighter among his own people.

I would have to put this as a tie. But in shear strength, I think Gorilla Grodd has it. Intelligence also @ a tie. This was a good one Souleater.

Sup, spock.

Yeah, while Grodd would have the shear strength going for him, he might loose to Hank on THESE merits:
1. Grodd is a basic, "I smash you." Beast is skilled in combat and knowing pressure points, and is definatly quicker then him on acount of his "CAT" side as well as ape.

2. Under estimation. Thats what nearly ALWAYS brings Grodd down, he's a major supremist and thinks theres a certain point in his plan, that once reached he'll be invonerable in. Otherwise how could flash beat him.
With his kind of ego, and beasts' ablity to read people and see flaws in plans, he'd be able to trick him most likely.

The sorry part of it is, knowing grodd, he'd probobly set the rest of the XMEN against him and make Hank choose either killing them or letting them kill him.

Of course that would also mean tangling with Charles Xavier, and Charles would have him calling him self McGilla before it was over.

I say Beast. Souleater you make many fine points. lol Xavier would fry Grodds brain like an egg. But you took the words straight out of my mouth when you said Grodd was a supremicist. He is so quick to blind himself by thinkin his newest plan is flawless. Hank McCoy is one of the greatest minds on the planet. And he thinks much more rationaly than Grodd. Combat wise, as an ex-boxer, trust me when I say Speed will beat Power any day. This battle isn't so much epic as it is just a good concept. So kudos to you Soul, nice match up on this.

Hey now is this Beast v.s. Grodd or X-men v.s. Grodd. Beast acnt ask for no help lol forget Xavier lol. Beast would still win so dont worry lol.

I know, I only put in the xmen because knowing Grodd's MO, he'd sick the Xmen on HANK to make hank choose between hurting his friends or being hurt, he does that allot.
