bigshow2312’s comic book sanitation: Who would win in a fight? Superman or Batman

This may have been done before but I need to settle this debate, once and for all.

It was me against 4 other of my college peers that started this discussion…

Batman: A lot of people would argue that Batman is the ultimate human tactician fighter and that he always carries a piece of kryptonite. Once Superman gets within a distance of him, Batman is able to do whatever (stabbing him in the heart with kryptonite-maybe)… Not to mention he also carries magic.

Superman: Faster than a speeding bullet, how is Superman able to let Batman pull the kryptonite out? Logically, he would use heat ray on sight. If Batman ever had a chance to weaken Supes, he couldn’t do any damage b/c Supes is the man of steel (like punching a wall).

I'm going to have to go with Supes. He can fly and shoot his rays from far. Doesn't need to get close. I mean Bats could use his grapple but I think Supes would be too fast.

in half and he wouldn't have to get close to do it.

lol always a fun question. it depends on the set up of the fight. does batman have prep time? is superman going for blood?
if batman has prep time, hes gonna win. Batman took the time to line metroplis's sewers with kryptonite, kidnapped Lois dropped her from a roof (the coolest thing about the 'Hush' storyline). Batman has his mind to fight being way more powerful then he is. This isn't an absolute, but id give the advantage to the bat.

Now if there is no prep time, Batman is f**ked. Superman took a punch and warned him that that was free, the next will break bat's hand. Superman is kinda the swiss army knife of superpowers, so if clark wanted to haul off and pop bruce, game over. If for some reason Superman is out for blood, he would simply fly straight through Batman.
so i guess my final vote would be draw.

a more interesting fight would be Apollo v Superman and Midnighter v Batman.
