Six months after the release of Disney's Frozen, the movie has finally reached the huge milestone of one billion dollars, and just recently surpassed Iron Man 3 to become the fifth highest grossing movie of all time. It also holds the rank of being the highest grossing animated movie, which it just became not too long ago. Iron Man 3 didn't keep that spot very long, as it made it there a while before Frozen was released in December. This means that once again The Avengers is the only Marvel movie to be in the top five. However, Iron Man 3 still made an extremely impressive amount of cash at the box office, having ended with $1,215,439,994 worldwide. The snowy animated flick continues to rake in even more money even after having been released on DVD already, but definitely won't be movie up any higher. It is beat only by Avatar, Titanic, Marvel's The Avengers, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2. Many more movies will be coming out in the next few years that could possibly beat Frozen out of the top five spot and even lower, such as Avengers: Age of Ultron, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, or Star Wars Episode VII to name a few.
