With shows like Smallville coming close to an end, what will we have left?

When it all comes down to it, comic fans do not have a lot when it comes to television. Sure, there are hundreds of animated shows, like x-men and spectacular spider-man, but what about shows aimed for older audiences. There arn`t too many of them out there. With shows like Smallville, the only real comic book show (meaning based on an actual comic) out there, and it itself near the end of its life, what else is there for us? Not a whole lot. A few years ago, word spread that Marvel would be coming out with a brand new show starring the character Moon Knight. This news got me, and many others, excited. But that was the last anyone heard about that show. More recently, The Greysons was announced, but was quickly cancelled. Now, I honestly had little hope for this show to begin with, but at least it was something. We need something new, and we need it soon. Here are a few ideas that I have come up with.

JUSTICE LEAGUE

This one seems like a no brainer to me. Some of the more popular episodes of smallville have featured at least one of the members of the JLA. And it would be a perfect way to continue the smallville story, only on a worldwide scale. Of course, the leader would have to be Green Arrow, who has needed his own spin-off show since he first showed up in smallville. A show like this would be able to bring many fan favourites to the smallscreen in a way that they wouldn`t have been able to before. Of course, you wouldn`t want to flood the show with guest appearences, but a nod every once in a while to guy gardner or blue beetle would be nice. Plus, if it was a continuation from smallville, tom welling would be able to pop his head in once in a while.

NICK FURY AND S.H.I.E.L.D. OR NICK FURY AND THE HOWLING COMMANDOS

Nick is one of those characters that just has cool written all over him, and I would love to see the original Nick Fury played out (nothin against sam jackson, though). A show about S.H.I.E.L.D could be incredible. It would not be your typical superhero show, but rather a kind of spy/espionage thriller. It could have lots of explosions, gadgets (well, as much as a tv budget can do :D) and more. A howling commandos show could be really cool too, showing large battles from the war, and who doesn`t like that now? Who knows, maybe even have a howling commandos show that lead to a S.H.I.E.L.D. show? That could be cool.

DEADPOOL

A yes, the merc with a mouth. What would I do without you? Ok, now Deadpool is my alltime fave, and why shouldn`t he get his own tv show? Better yet, have Ryan Reynolds play him in that as well, linking it with his movies. It would bring a new kind of show to tv. It would have to be dark, gritty, full of action, funny as can be, and aimed for mature audiences. It might be just me, but seeing ol Wade on the smallscreen every week, talking his enemies to death would be a thrill! Who knows, maybe they could even get Cable in there!

well thats all for now, but i will continue this tomorrow. for now, tell me wut u guys think.
