Aww man. Why did they make this? It takes place 100 years before BSG. Its basicall a fracking soap opera. OOOOH, big deal. We created cylons!!! Who gives a crap? I love BSG, but let it die.

The DVD hits retail on 4/21... I didn't realize it was a full 100 years before Battlestar... The fact that WE created the Cylons is kind of interesting.

Maybe I'll watch this before I rent the new Battlestar... Only saw the first few episodes and have a TON to catch up on :o|

You gotta start BSG from the very beginning though.
Watch it, and you will love it.
sad that it's over. but, I would rather had 4 great seasons and an ending, than to have an ongoing, gradually worse series !

If youre starting from scratch BSG, MAKE SURE YOU SEE THE MINI SERIES FIRST. Its 3 hours long and sets the entire series up. There were refs from the miniseries in the final episode. You wont b lost without it, but it will help immensely.

I got an advanced copy of the movie and let me just say, that it was amazing. It touched on all the great concepts of science fiction; Faith, morality, the question of what constitutes a soul. The acting was top notch, and the story well thought out... unfortunately the ending was a bit open-ended, so I would expect this movie to really be more of a pilot for a series/mini-series. Either way it was a great movie for fans of BSG and new-comers alike.

Grif its about how and why they create the Cylons..so i doubt there will be any war. Maybe right at the end of the series but since its set 50(not 100) years before Galactica and the holocaust its doubtful.

So its going to have the CLASSIC CYLONS at the end of this mini series right??? If so, very cool!!! I gotta admit, i prefer the Classic ones than the CGI Terminator type ones!
