I’ve always had a fascination with samurai and the samurai code of honor and I’ve always thought pirates were cool. Zoro is both a swordsman and a Pirate. What I love about him is his unbreakable spirit to achieve his goal as the strongest swordsman in the world. Visually he is very unique, he fights with three swords, one in both hands and one in his mouth, not to mention he sports the color green my favorite color so he gets major points for that.

Through each fight/confrontation Zoro learns more about himself and swordsmanship and soars higher and higher. He also cares deeply for his friends and fellow Straw Hat pirate members. If you want to know more about Zoro here is his wiki page. http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Roronoa_Zoro

Not a big fan of the show, but I do like this guy. The sword in the mouth is original.

Yeah, I got a dose of this show when it first came out dubbed and got completely turned off by it. Seen a few AMV's that really made me reconsider how cool it was, but I doubt I'll ever watch it still.

No no, Never trust an Anime show by it's dub. Specially One piece, the dubbed version not only changed the voice but added a tonne of stupid stuff and even changed a few shots >.>

They made it specially 'for kids' when the anime is far away from just for kids.
Try the subbed version which retains the proper Japanese feel and is more enjoyable.
