Supercrooks movie teaser with director Nacho Vigalondo. Millar has promised an onslaught of PR for the release of his new story as well, stating "
In the month leading up to the release of Supercrooks you will see me pimp like no man has pimped before. This is all out war with the Millarworld books this year as we not only hit you with the biggest artists in comics but a PR campaign like you’ve never seen in your life." The
MillarWorld blitz is getting ready to kick off in a couple of weeks with viral videos, but for now we get a warning to be prepared as well as the cover to the second issue of another new book-
The Secret Service.
Today Millar took to the
MillarWorld forums to speak about how two of the viral videos are shaping up
Just a teaser trailer. But my God it was fun. We're going to spend the next couple of days in an editing suite as director Nacho Vigalondo works his magic and you'll all see this the day the Supercrooks comic is released in March. We shot this small scene in Glasgow using two local actor/ comedians. It relates to the main comic/ movie and is one of several virals Nacho and I have in mind. Really, really fun and actor Billy Kirkwood wins the prize for best scream yesterday as he yelled "Quick! Get in here! There's a UNICORN f*****g a DINOSAUR!" as Nacho and I carefully reviewing a take.
We also managed to shoot a Millarworld Comics viral trailer you'll all see in less than 2 weeks. It involves me in a scene with 21 kids and huge thanks to all the parents who loaned as said progeny yesterday afternoon. What a laugh! The kids were all starting to wilt a little as we were doing set-ups, but the minute the camera came out they were all brilliant. Stay tuned.
