After the great response from our last photo op contest we are running another, but with an Xmas twist. Basically the same rules apply as last time(click Here to see our last group of entrants), but we want you to add some yuletide cheer to your pictures. So if your posing as Wolverine, make it Wolverine with a Santa hat! It's that simple. Anything tying the character your posing as to Christmas is acceptable, even if he/she is just standing in front of your tree! Of course, the more creative the better.
Here's what you need to do:
Register with CBM(if you haven't already), post a picture of yourself in the comments section and say which character your supposed to be. You can pose, it can be a full body shot, or just be natural and hope your resemblance to the character is enough. You CAN dress up if you like but this is not a cosplay competition and may not help you win over someone who hasn't donned a costume if they look more like the character they are posing as. Its all up to you. The first round is the posting of pics. Myself, Shaman and Josh will narrow it down to a top 5(maybe 10 depending on the number of entries), then its all up to you guys. CBM community votes for the winner.
Of course, last time the prize was being immortalized as your character by our resident artist Shaman, but this time you can win some awesome prizes courtesy of our friends at Superherostuff!..
There will be prizes for first, second and third place. Our finalists from last time(you know who you are:) can of course enter again, but not as the same character! And this time, because Shaman won't be sketching the winners, you don't have to worry too much about picture quality; just be sure its not so blurry that we can't make you out! Bigger is better too. So that's about it folks. Get snapping over the holidays. You have 2 whole weeks to get your entries in. We will stop accepting submissions on January 4th and the finalists will be revealed for the vote soon after. Best of luck and Happy Christmas from all at CBM:)
If your not sure how to add a picture with your comment, you can create a fansite by clicking HERE and upload a pic that way, or use photobucket.
