The movie rights were sold to MTV Films for Andy Cosby's 3-issue horror comic series Damn Nation, of a widespread vampiric takeover in the U.S. in which officials seek refuge in London to research a possible cure.

Paramount Pictures will be distributing the feature which will be adapted to screenplay by Mr. Cosby himself. When speaking with Daily Variety, Cosby told sources that he wants to portray the carnal animalistic tendencies of vampires in order give the gore-glorious vamp genre some more creative blood.

Cosby says "I grew up with a big fear of vampires" and added "...I see them as cunning like jungle cats."
