Latino Review (you know, those guys that pull scoops out of thin air?) first reported on Donal Logue's possible involvement in
Gotham, though they did incorrectly assume he was being looked at for the lead role of James Gordon. But now FOX and WBTV have confirmed that Logue has accepted their offer and has been officially been cast as Detective Harvey Bullock. This take on the character is described as Gordon's
"rough-around-the-edges partner and mentor. Plays loose with police procedure, but he gets results... and he does it with old-school, forceful panache." Gotham will also star Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth, Zabryna Guevara as Captain Essen, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean and Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot. We're still awaiting the casting of a young Bruce Wayne. The show is written by Bruno Heller and directed by David Nutter.
