Season Two of Comic Book Men, which returns with eight more laugh out loud episodes, will continue to indulge audiences by following the antics in and around master fanboy Kevin Smith's Red Bank comic show. In the next few episodes they find themselves in some unfamiliar territory such as in the ring with MMA fighter Nate Quarry.

The show, which The New York Times hailed, "a celebration of the deeply particular personalities involved when geeky merchandise changes hands," allows fanboys to realize their inner superhero by tackling the burning question all fans grapple with: What is the ultimate superpower?

AMC’s unscripted tribute to the collector returns for a new season this fall. Watch Kevin Smith and his crew of fan boys turned pop culture experts live, work and breath comic books. Mike, Walt, Ming and Bryan geek-out over rare artifacts and memorabilia and discover treasures of the comic collecting world. Realize your inner superhero and satisfy your fan boy fantasies by joining their outrageous podcasts where they tackle the burning questions all fans grapple with; what is the ultimate superpower and how best to relive the nostalgia of your childhood.

Comic Book Men returns Thu., Feb. 14 at 9/8c.

This show is pretty good, but I wish there were more interaction with... busty female cosplayers. Just sayin'.

I think it sucks, but I only watched it twice. I suppose it could've picked up steam from there. Mainly most of the guys just seem like Dicks

Never seen the show. I want to talk shit about it but I guess I gotta watch it first, to be fair.

If there is at least on Marvelite troll and one Nolanite troll on it, it could be entertaining as hell

I haven't seen it either, but NO!!! to fake cosplayers. They should be ostracised...instead the geek community embraces them with open arms for reasons i'll never comprehend.

That being said, it still kind of sucks. And I'm a HUGE Kevin Smith fan.

@HonestFan

Its funny you say that. I did a segment with a girl named Zoey in the episode they filmed to pitch the idea to AMC. She was dressed up like Wasp and she was supposed to be the "new employee" working at the Stash being trained by Walt.

The show was originally a lot more scripted and Kevin said it felt forced to have a girl in there just for sake of having a more gender balanced cast.

@Jollem

I wish they kept her, and the part with me in it too!

She changed into a pink shirt with the Spider-man emblem in the shape of a heart with Mary-Jane on it after the cosplay segment. Needless to say, I was a drooling a bit.

@PCO4 that's what I'm talking about. Listen, I get that I'm an immature geek... but the show is geared towards... 'me' basically. So, why not put what most immature comic nerds, like me, love so very much: A character that has the assets of Power Girl. Just sayin'.

No TESD fans on this site?

I mean it's true they are pretty much dicks, but I think most people are in one way or another so cheers for them not hiding it. Love these guys. Shows okay, Podcast is better.

kevin smith is the only one on the show I like, The rest of them are dicks. They always insult the people coming into the store, and pretty much crucify the "non comicbook nerds" .

Yeah, Walt is a bit of a douche, but I enjoy the show.
