Foundry, a new production company, have just partnered with Strange Comics, and they plan on adapting all of its comic books into films starting with a movie/comic about Quincey Morris, the american from Bram Stoker's Dracula, withe the comic being written by Steve Katz of Shadow of the Vampire fame.

Another comic/movie in development it Offworld, which is described as an "Intergalactic Safari, which is being written by David Johnson. Another project called Escape Velocity is also in the works, being written by Eureka's Andrew Cosby

Offworld seems to be the farthest along in terms of its transition from comic book to film. Julian Gilbey, the director of A Lonely Place to Die, was attached, back in September, to direct.
