Mania.com is reporting (via HeyUGuys), that creators Jeymes Samuel from music group Gorillaz and Sean Michael Wilson are on the fast track to getting their graphic novel "Buskers" into a movie.

Information on the comic book from the Insomnia's website itself is:

"Timothy Book seems on top of the world but a botched suicide attempt sends him to the doorstep of ex-best-friend Cabbage, a streetwise busker, and he experiences a kind of life he never knew existed."

The graphic novel actually starts filming this December and the music will be by UK band The BulliTTs. Also planned at some point, is a Gorillaz movie too.

Thanks for the heads up to the great guys at Mania.

LEEE777 - Well this was fast, kinda shows up Hollywood that take sometime twenty years to get anything made comic book wise. Sounds very interesting and will be checking it out. As for Gorillaz, love that band, if you check out their music videos, their very comic book related, they get the artist that does "Tank Girl" for their videos. Anyway cant wait to check out "Buskers" and the "Gorillaz" movie too!
