After wrapping up his latest installment of Warner Bros. Batman trilogy, Christopher Nolan takes a well earned day off to celebrate his 42nd birthday.

Happy birthday, Nolan. Thank you for your contribution to Batman.

Nolan's next, and possibly final superhero project, the Superman reboot "Man of Steel", debuts next year, under the direction of Zack Snyder, with Nolan serving as head writer and producer.
