After revealing that he has no idea about the rumors Fox are interested in casting him as Daredevil, the actor has now said he would consider playing a superhero, despite protests from "little fanboys"...

Robert Pattinson already has few fans outside of the Twilight crowd, and despite the actor now expanding his acting horizons, the rumor that he was up for the role of Matt Murdock in the new Daredevil proved that that is a genre of film no one is too keen on seeing him enter. Well, his following comments will surely make him even less popular with comic book movie fans.



"I'd love to definitely. I don't know what superhero you'd do. Is there any left?"

"I shouldn't even say this stuff, 'cause all the little fanboys will be like, 'No! I'm gonna shoot him!'"

We shouldnt judge him by Twilights. Those cant even be called as real movies.
Ray Stevenson was great in HBO´s Rome and his acting sucked in Punisher War Zone. The Script, Directors and Producers has the most influence in these films.
I have only seen Pattinson in two movies, the first Twilight and Harry Potter: The Goblet of Fire so basically i havent even seen him truelly act yet.
People should watch Water for Elephants and Remember Me and judge him by those movies and not these shitty non movies which are only made to look beautiful and corny and cry teen girls.

Dude is way too intellectual to ever dumb himself down with comic book stuff. Twilight was purely accidental. Did you read his Vanity Fair piece? I don't think he reads books that need so many pictures.

Why is it that young male stars always get pushed into this superhero nonsense anyway? Whose career has it helped? It helped to kill Ben Affleck's career for a while. Now he's back to making quality movies. I haven't seen the guy that played Robin in years. What has Tobey Macquire done lately? Brandon Routh doesn't seem to have recovered from his spin as Superman to date. The respect George Clooney and Christian Bale have is not based on Batman but on their other bodies of work. Leo Dicaprio has never touched a superhero costume. I can't understand what about this role would interest someone like Pattinson. He doesn't need or seem to care that much about the money and is already extremely famous.
I also remember Heath Ledger getting a lot of flack when he got the joker role.
