"I Frankenstein" Concept Art

"I Frankenstein" is a movie adaptation of the Dark Horse comic. Its being brought to the screen by Underworld: Rise of the Lycans director Patrick Tatopoulos and Underworld co-creator Kevin Grevioux.

The story brings together various classic monsters, including Frankenstein's Monster, the Invisible Man, Dracula and the Hunchback of Notre Dame, in a contemporary film noir setting. A handful of various websites have unveiled four different concept art images today from the in-development project.









Thanks to IESB, ShockTillYouDrop, Bloody-Disgusting, and AICN for debuting these -And First Showing for gathering them together! Apparently these images differ somewhat from the comic and represent Patrick's vision of the world created by Kevin Grevioux who is currently hard at work on the script for the film.

The idea sounds cool. But i have no faith in the director after Rise of the Lycans took a steaming SH*T on the chest of a promising Trilogy.

BTW Rorschach. You are so not the only one wanting a solo Batgirl movie. She definitely needs some vindication after Alicia Silverstone. Maybe they will go the same route as "The Batman" cartoon and intro Batgirl before Robin. That would piss THE WORLD off. LOL. In any case, she needs to return to the big screen. And I mean the true Barbara Gordon version, not crappy Cassandra Cain.

Yeah that could be cool alright. That's one thing that really annoyed me about TDK. At the end all the focus is on Gordon's son and his wife's name is Barbara..even thought he has a daughter there too! What a wasted opportunity to give a wink to her becoming Batgirl..i mean would it have been so hard to switch focus from the son to the daughter? It befuddles me!

Well I heard that they didn't focus on the daughter so that they would be able to cast a different actress as Barbara Gordon for a future film. I guess they felt retarded after casting Maggie "I look like Katie Holmes fell out of an ugly tree and hit every ugly branch on the way down and landed on an ugly person" Gylenhaal as Rachel. Is it sad that I was relieved when she died? Anyway...maybe you can start a poll...see who we think should play Batgirl if she were ever to be in a movie? Could be fun.

haha, yeah i think everyone feels the same about Maggie G. I wouldn't mind but she wasn't even very good in the role aside from looking like a 45 year old crack addict!

The polls are flying around here lately! But that's a good idea. Might have to wait until there is some news about a possible movie though.
