I'm not really interested in this event, but that trailer was epic.

why? why does it always have to be Marvel vs. DC?

can't people just be comic fans in general?

there is not a single comic fan on the face of the planet that wouldn't be able to find something they like from either company. Even the most diehard Marvel fan could find something from DC that they like, and vice versa.

i'm so tired of this stupid shit.

This is all so stupid.

For those who are so narrow-minded as to say one side is shit and the other rules, I submit this:

Imagine the labels "DC" and "Marvel" were erased from existence.
All we have is the label "COMICS"
And all the knowledge you possess of every character is gone.

Now, you're asked to read and get to know all these comic book characters afresh.
You have to separate each comic character into a "good" category and a "crap" category.

Do you honestly think that you would happen to put every comic character from your beloved company into the good pile, while also putting every character from the other company into the crap pile?

Of course you wouldn't.

The sheer fact that writers and artists jump between companies is basically evidence enough.
What are the chances that you could love everything a writer/artist does in one company but hate everything they do in another?

Tired of this "versus" crap.

Awesome trailer, and even though I agree with most of you on the typical "vs." bullshit... I'd faithfully side with MARVEL :P

sorry DC but Marvel wins hands down... DC has had some really good stuff but also some really dumb stuff too... Marvel has been more steady with not making something necessarily as great but still very good IMO (I'm looking at you Batman: Arkham Asyulm, vs Spider-man: Shattered Dimensions or Thor vs Batman and Robin)

I don't care for vs. stuff either, it's just a matter of preference. If I were to choose a side though, I'd be with DC.
Movies: Marvel > DC
Games: DC > Marvel
Comics: DC > Marvel
Animation: DC > Marvel

Don't get me wrong though, I still like Marvel, my main hate is that there's too many mutants and that I feel there's always a huge earth-shattering event going on.

i suppose rival companies makes rival fans, when i first started collecting i was 100% marvel, then i discovered that dc,image & dark horse all have great characters & books.

couldnt agree with you more marvel72. Although as you said they are both brilliant in different ways

@dane

I prefer big earth-shattering events to constant DC reboots, I try to get into a DC comic and theres been a million different versions of characters on a million earths, its stupid

but you are right about too many mutants. It makes sense when there is a small amount of mutants fighting for their rights, but when everyone and their mothers are mutants, they really arent as much as a minority anymore
