According to Jeff Sneider of The Wrap, Wolf of Wall Street star Margot Robbie is in negotiations to play Jane in David Yates' big-budget Tarzan film. Check it out.

Last month, Variety reported that Australian actress Margot Robbie, who lit the screen on fire as Leonardo DiCaprio's wife in Martin Scorsese's Wolf of Wall Street, was David Yates top choice for the role of Jane in his upcoming Tarzan film, but at the time no offer had been made. Now, Jeff Sneider of The Wrap says, "Margot Robbie is in negotiations to play Jane" in David Yates adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ Tarzan novels. Robbie's stardom is on the rise at the moment, and Warner Bros. felt it was time to pounce. When she officially comes on board, she'll be paired up with Alexander Skarsgard ("Battleship"), who is playing the King of the Jungle.

Ahhh,just saw Wolf Of Wall Street today..
It's a good movie & she's great in it.
She's also fully nude...soooooo damn sexy.

Anyways, never was a BIG fan of Tarzan, hopefully this movie changes my mind.

@batz Lol! Ever since I saw in the trailer for The Wolf of Wall Street, I was like, "how did I not know about her sooner?" I feel like I'm living under a rock sometimes when I just learn of a beautiful actress.

She needs to play Felicia Hardy/Black Cat:

@DannyBoy If there is a chance you're going to click on this article and report me again, I would really like to know your reasoning.

I see you report people all the time for posting up pictures of girls, but I never really see you report people for making sexual comments about said girls. Which would you consider is worse?

If admiring the female from in all its beauty makes me a pervert, then I'm a huge pervert. Famous artists through out history felt the same way I do, which is why they created paintings of naked women. I guess that means they were all perverts too.

What I'm saying is, you're overdoing it with reporting people for the pictures they post up. If someone posts up a nude photo of girl, you're justified in reporting them. However, if you report people constantly for posting up a pic of a girl in a two-piece bikini, that's overdoing it. That's something you see when you got to a beach or even on a billboard. It's not really as big of deal as you're making it out to be.

@JohnGalt Lol, I'm not trying to throw you under the bus or anything, but I just want to know what this guy's deal is.

Is this a live action version or the new Tarzan cartoon movie? If it is a whole new Tarzan film. Then that would be cool to see a live action version. The thing that sucks then is that three Tarzan movies have come out in the last ten years. I do think a live action Tarzan film could be neat.

But I would love to see some new concepts. Like other properties from Edgar Rice Burroughs like the Pirates of Venus or call me crazy but someone buy the IP from Disney to Finish the Princess of Mars series. Fox bought the rights of Chronicles of Narnia from Disney. So it could happen most likely won't but it could. I personally feel Disney sabotaged the movie by giving it the generic name John Carter.

That all being said the mythology of Tarzan is pretty deep. So there is a lot you can do with that world. Hopefully it won't be another origin story. Because there is more to Tarzan that comes later after he meets and marries Jane.

Anyways, I think she would be awesome as Black Cat. She has the right presence for the character and she even looks like Felicia.

Couldn't give a [frick] about ANOTHER Tarzan, but she was amazing in Wolf of Wall Street.
I'd say she looks similar to Emma Stone, which may be why some people are saying she would've made a good Gwen Stacy (she would've, but I love Emma)... I'd say she's more Ms. Marvel than Black Cat, but hey, Anne Hathaway played Catwoman - so who knows?
