Neil Gaiman would be direcing his first feature film based on his own script. Anonymous sources have reported that Gaiman recently met with Guillermo del Toro to discuss the project.

Further reports say the film will shoot late autum or early winter in the UK. Shai LaBeouf is "almost certainly going to play the male lead," named Sexton Furnival in the comics. For the role of Death a.k.a. Didi an actress will be named soon.
