In just a couple of months time, the highly anticipated new take on Stephen King's classic novel, IT, will be unleashed into theaters, and we'll see a new trailer for the (hopefully) terrifying adaptation next week.

To accompany the announcement, the official IT Twitter account has debuted the poster below, which depicts the demonic Pennywise (Bill Skarsgard) stalking his intended victims.

A group of young kids face their biggest fears when they seek answers to the disappearance of children in their hometown of Derry, Maine. They square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

IT will be in theaters September 8, 2017.
