Greetings CBMers, I hope everyone had a safe and fun New Year celebration last night. As 2012 arrives, many of you guys are seriously amped about this year's crop of comic book movies. A lot of you have even gone on record to say that 2012 will be the greatest year of comic book movies ever. Over the last few days, I've posted some of the choice spoilers for The Dark Knight Rises, The Avengers, and The Amazing Spider-Man; the 3 CBM's that will be spearheading the 2012 "epic CBM movement". Clicking on the three banners below will take you to a list of each movie's spoilers that emerged in 2011, in case you missed the original post.

Without a doubt, 2011 was a great year for comic book movie news and I've had nothing but great fun posting the latest headlines, rumors and developments on the site to share with you guys. It's been great interacting with all the stalwarts, newbies, Nolanites, Whedonites, [any Webbites out there?] and yes, even you trolls [shout-out to the grifster!]. You CBM fans are hardcore to the max and I mean that in every truest sense of the word. Now before we put 2011 in the rear-view for good, let's look at the best spoilers for each film and decide which one was "theee most surprisingly, jaw-dropping, mind-blowing, "winningest" spoiler to emerge this past year.

I'd say TDKR taking place eight years after The Dark Knight. that one really shocked me.

I am interested to see how the lizard men will play out. I want to see some high flying acrobatic shit in The Amazing Spider-man... without all the CGI. Humans can do certain impressive feats.

Grif is so much more of himself with the teddy bear icon. He is just so cute ya can't be mad at him.He is like Oscar the grouch or Grumpy from Snow White it is just how he is.

Why is Stan Lee's Cameo For Spider-Man not up there? Sad he gave it away, but it's gonna be hella funny!

I wouldnt consider TDKR 8 year skip a spoiler since nolan went on interview and commented on the reason but i would consider batman possibly getting his back broken a spoiler instead....

For me there's only one that has any significant/interesting implications for its respective story -- the 8 year difference between The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises.

Didn't know that spoilers included possibilities too... (Which means a RUMOUR!) There goes Graphic City really stretching again to put a half decent poll, rumour, article together... Keep trying im sure you'll get there 1 day!

TDKR is getting too much hype and from what i've seen it's going to be more "Inception" than "The Dark Knight" so I think i'll wait till DVD for TDKR.

That Scarecrow spoiler has always been a rumor and has never been confirmed. I voted TDKR taking place 8 years after TDK, because I almost fell off my chair with that spoiler, and I have no idea who Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet are.
