A lot of votes, but only one winner..or I guess that would be loser. Anyway, by a good margin, you CBMers chose the following as your worst scene in CBM history...

The "Emo Dance" in Spider-Man 3



With 2,779 Votes, over 38% of you felt that this scene, played for laughs anyway, was the worst of the bunch. Why I have no frakkin idea, I thought it was pretty funny. But there you go. In at second was Superman "throwing the S" in Superman 2

The Joker interrogation scene from the Dark Knight should definitly be in the poll next week for best CBM scenes. Other good choices would be Magneto's prison break, Nightcrawler in the White House, and when we first see Scarecrow in his mask in Batman Begins.

Golden, yep, had that one! That, Dr Manhattan's origin scene in Watchmen, Nightcrawler in X2..and..a few more, won't give em away:)

For best CBM Scene ever, my choice is the Nightcrawler attack on the White House at the begging of X2. Superbly executed scene and showing a truly accurate depiction of a comic book characters powers that actually surpassed anticipation.

Can't wait for best scene...a lot to choose from..in my opinion: the chase scene in The Dark Knight with the Bat-cycle or whatever the hell you wanna call it. Awesome.

I think you should make two more polls. One for the most BadASS scene in CBM history(joker blowing up hospital, for example)

And another one for the best/most epic scene

A scene that sticks out in my mind is in Tranformers 1 when Megatron turns into the gun & says in that badass Hugo Weaving voice,,"Join them in extinction!"

(One of the best scenes)

I think we can all agree that the worst scene in Comic book movie history was that emo Parker scene in SM3. Just thinking about it makes me mad. The Venom Saga is such an awesome and beloved story in the comics. Sam Raimi and his circus bums ruined it and of course made Venom blow up. So glad Spidey's getting a reboot.

Nightcrawler's entrance in X2s opening sequence...was and still is...a jaw dropping scene. Magneto's escape during x2 is equally spectacular. Both were superbly executed and showed their powers in full glory.

I also really enjoy Joker's introduction/entrance scene with the mobsters. Still very enjoyable.

I'm with weneedrevelation. My vote was for Barakapool, although, the Galactus cloud was a close second. I would hardly even call this Spider-man scene a contender for worst. It was certainly weird, but under the context, it wasn't flat out bad like many of the others.

As for best, @Ror, I hope you'll include the scene in First Class where *****SPOILER***** Magneto puts the coin through Shaw's head. I don't know if I'd vote that one the best scene of all time, but it certainly deserves to be a contender, imo.

Very deserving of the worst scene ever!

As for best scene, how about the opening scene from the Burton Batman where Batman takes out those two crooks? Or Iron Man defeating the Ten Rings in Afghanistan?

Best CBM scenes imo......Spiderman 2 Train Fight, V for Vendetta- V vs Praetorian Guard, Night Crawler White House Office...and am I the only one who thought that Superman throwing the "S" looked like a fruit Roll up?

Best scene? Our intro to Wolverine in the first X-Men film. The gritty nature of the scene is perfect for setting up who Wolverine is. I remember freaking out in the theater when I saw it for the first time.

What about:
Ang Lee's "Hulk:" Nick Nolte throwing a tantrum trying to incite Bana into rage. So stupid I almost walked out.

I loved "Spider-Man," but the rooftop scene while Spidey is drugged and Goblin talks about teaming up. It reminded of "Space Giants," "Ultraman," and "Spectraman:" silly, cheap, needless.

"Superman III" Dark Superman (dressed like 'Returns' costume) gets drunk (how?!) and tilts the Tower of Pisa upright and has a sexual romp with a villainess.

"Fantastic Four" Shaving cream in Thing's hand. Really? Can't we see more use of powers instead of 'creaming' the rubber suit.

I'll have a few more, just need a minute to think.

The Joker and batman final confrontation in Dark Knight

Doctor Octopus and Spider man fight on a train.

Loki and Thor's final confrontation

Rorschach's death

Opening Sequence to Watchman

Any sequence from 300

Scott Pilgrim fighting Todd. I thought it was a better scene that even the Gideon fight

V's speech when he hijacks the TV's

Best scene X-Men FC, I would go with Eric/Magneto in the bar in Argentina. What he did with that knife was awesome. Also from Judge Dredd when Rico was in the pawn shop. I just liked it when he picked up his package. Grabbed the lawmaster and shot the guy in the head. Then goes and shorts a couple wires to activate the ABC warrior.
