WTF dont find it a good sign that The Dark Knight Rises wins "The Most Anticipated Movie"

even the Green Lantern last year won "The Most Anticipated Movie"

so i guessing the guys at WB pushing their property at Scream Awards. the truth is Avengers should of won the "The Most Anticipated Movie".

before anyone say im a Maverl fanboy. im actually a fan of both Marvel, DC and other comic book company. but the honest truth Avengers should of won.

@jazzman Try other sources too. Look up most anticipated film of 2012. Everyone I saw says TDKR followed by Avengers and the Hobbit.
marvel72
marvel72 - 10/16/2011, 4:34 AM
how did scott pilgrim vs the world win? if it was awards for films & tv shows of the past year.

also the avengers should of won most anticipated movie not the dark knight rises.

this is our seven batman,third by nolan how can it be more anticipated than a movie that we've never seen before i.e all these sharing the screen for the first time in a shared universe.

@RorMachine

yeah right. so how the hell Green Lantern last year won "The Most Anticipated Movie" even tho it never had a trailer at that time. Thor, Cowboy and Aliens, etc had a trailer and some hype Green Lantern never had anything but won "The Most Anticipated Movie". the guys at WB payed them of.

MarkCassidy - 10/16/2011, 4:49 AM
Green Lantern WAS the most anticipated movie of last year. The fact that it turned out to suck didn't change that. It was eagerly anticipated by fans and the general public because of Ryan Reynolds involvement. Marvel72 just answered his own question. Of course most people outside of fan circles are going to be more excited for a movie they have already seen the first 2 installments of and loved.

C'mon Tea, you should have more sense than to believe in award fixing. It's an urban myth like alligators in the sewers and the clitoris:)
MovieMaster
MovieMaster - 10/16/2011, 4:54 AM
@teabag- the sad truth is that the general public have no idea that Marvel's movie's are connected and dont even know who the avengers are :( but they know what TDKR is cos they've seen the trailer premiere with everything lol

Yeah I would've preferred that Avengers won, but so glad that wasn't Twishite who won. TDKR would've been my other choice without a doubt.

@RorMachine

how the hell Green Lantern was the most anticipated movie last year. not alot of people know nothing about Green Lantern plus alot of people not a major fan of Ryan Reynolds.

i dont agree with your comment about "people outside of fan circles are going to be more excited for a movie they have already seen the first 2 installments of and loved."

people outside the fan circle know about the build up of The Avengers also it stars RDJ.

@teabag- hey i liked super 8!
MarkCassidy
MarkCassidy - 10/16/2011, 5:05 AM
Sports fixing is different, that happens regularly because people have something to gain from it. What exactly do WB have to gain by paying SPIKE tv to have them win that award? Cos they really need the exposure? With a follow up to one of the biggest movies of all time? IO don't think so. If Avengers won the Nolanites would be on claiming Marvel did the fixing. Gimme a break boys.
MarkCassidy
MarkCassidy - 10/16/2011, 5:06 AM
Yeah Super 8 was decent..ending sucked a bit though. Jazz ok you're right, WB paid off Spike to have TDKR win. Maybe they will get some asses in seats now eh?
jazzman
jazzman - 10/16/2011, 5:06 AM
@MovieMaster

thats a complete B.S. the general public right now knows about the Avengers and its connection to the other movies.
MovieMaster
MovieMaster - 10/16/2011, 5:10 AM
@jazzman- not really, most people i know only went to see the iron man movies so they wont know that the characters from those movies featured in The Incredible Hulk, Thor and Captain America
marvel72

MovieMaster
MovieMaster - 10/16/2011, 5:17 AM
