Hello all. Here's what happening in your world of CBM tonight.

Now I know what you are thinking, "Top 3? Why not top 5?" I could list my top 5 characters of all time but then I'd be lyin'. My top 5 and 4 could change. I have seen my self list my top 5 but the next week 4 and 5 would have changed. Now my top 3 will always be the same, I don't think I could love any other heroes as much as them.

I will do honorable mentions cause there are a few heroes that could take my 4 & 5 spot

3. The Doctor

"He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night, and the storm in the heart of the sun. He's ancient and forever. He burns at the centre of time and he can see the turn of the universe. And... he's wonderful." - Tim Latimer

The Doctor was the primary alias of a renegade Time Lord from Gallifrey who journeyed through time and space with various companions in his obsolete and stolen Type 40 Tardis. He was indisputably responsible for billions of deaths at his conclusion to the Last Great Time War. He was virtually the only Time Lord survivor of that great conflict with the Daleks, largely because he ended it by obliterating both races.

The Doctor, The Oncoming Storm, The Traveller from Beyond Time! I would say he is the smartest man in his universe. I have not always known of the Doctor. I only started watching Dr Who last year after I suffered a broken ankle and leg. But to begin with I would not even look at it. The only reason I started watching it was because of my brother, he kept going on at me to watch it and finally I gave in, and I am glad I did. The Doctor I started with was the Ninth Doctor (Christopher Eccleston) And I loved it. I have seen all the Doctors in action (The Five Doctors has to be one of the all time greats, If you are a fan of Dr Who and you havn't seen it... I suggest you go and pick it up NOW!!!) but I have to say that Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) Is my Doctor. Over the past year the Doctor has grown on me. The character is so great and unique. The show or the chracter will never get boring.

2. Goku

"I am the hope of the universe. I am the answer to all living things that cry out for peace. I am protector of the innocent. I am the light in the darkness. I am truth. Ally to good! Nightmare to you!" - Goku

Goku was sent as a baby to planet Earth, in order to destroy its inhabitants and clear the planet for its future sale. But after a fatal accident, suffering severe head trauma that sent him into a coma and very nearly killed him. He woke up, he had lost all of his Saiyan aggression, becoming a kind and mild-mannered young boy. Later Goku would become defender of Earth and leader of the Z Fighter. Throughout his life, he trains hard and strives to be the greatest warrior possible, while at the same time using his amazing strength and skills to uphold peace in the universe.

I have been a Dragon Ball fan for about 10 years. After seeing the show it became a big part of my life. I loved the characters and everything about them, though some characters did really do my head in but I can let that pass. Now Goku, to me is the most NOBLE hero there is and ever will be. He was always willing to give his life when ever needed and restore peace when he had to. He would never give up even when the odds are stacked against him. He would always try and see the good in people no matter how evil they may have been. He was always willing to give them a chance to have a change of heart. When I was a kid I always wanted to be Goku and my number 1 (see below) Even now after 10 years I still have a lot of love for the character and I know I always will. Goku is just plain and simple the ultimate hero!!!

1. Batman

"You can never escape me. Bullets don't harm me. Nothing harms me. But I know pain. I know pain. Sometimes I share it. With someone like you." - Batman

As a young child, Bruce Wayne watched his parents murdered before his eyes which later would lead him to become Batman the man who fights against evil and strikes terror into the hearts of criminals everywhere. In his secret identity he is Bruce Wayne, billionaire industrialist and notorious playboy. Although he has no superhuman powers, he is one of the world's smartest men and greatest fighters. His physical prowess and technical ingenuity make him an incredibly dangerous opponent. He is also a founding member of the Justice League and the Outsiders.

C'mon! You knew he was gonna be number 1. There is no doubt about it, Batman is the most popular character ever created. Yea, I would even say more popular than Big Blue himself. But thats open to debate. Batman! There is not much I can say about him that you don't already know. I think I was about 5 or 6 years old when I first started watching Batman, the first ever thing Batman I seen was Batman: TAS and I was like, "Yeah, I'm Batman!" When Batman came on t.v. My eyes would be glued to the screen you could not pull me away. As time went on my love for the character started growing and soon I was reading and watching everything Batman, I even own a copy of Batman & Robin. Thats how much he means to me haha. Even though some people don't like him and even have a problem with him, you hate it but you know the respect you have to give him. For just being a man he has achieved so much. He is one of the biggest badasses you will ever see. I feel sorry for those who ever gets in his way.

Honorable Mentions...

Blade

Hulk

Riddick

Wolverine

Flash (Wally West)

Don't think the Doctor, Goku, or Riddick count as actual superheroes.

I saw The Doctor and immediately thought you're awesome.
I started with the Ninth Doctor as well. I love David Tennant and he is "my" Doctor too but I really liked Christopher Eccelston as well. I always say it's a shame he didn't last long but, of course, that would have meant delaying David's introduction. And we can't have that, can we? :P Don't even get me started on the new series, though. I am somewhat fond of the Eleventh Doctor, which is a plus, but there's something there that is just ticking me off. Nothing to do with him though; I blame the writing. I gave up on the 3rd/4th episode. But I want to continue just because it's The Doctor and it's difficult to hate him, even if the show goes bad.

You pretty much won me over with Batman. I always have a difficult time coming up with any kind of top list. But Batman is most certainly my #1 choice in a list of favorite superheroes. In fact, he's probably the most constant thing for me if ever I come up with a list. The rest is always changing.

Anyways, cool article. Thanks for sharing! :)
