Looks decent hopefully it's better than the underwhelming Darren Aronofsky film Noah.

I really wish I was more interested in this movie, since I like the cast, but lately Ridley Scott has been putting out some real mediocre stuff.

Plan on watching this movie regardless.

Wishing for the best.

Guaranteed to be despised because it's a biblical epic.

Had no clue Aaron Paul was in this. Seeing him caught me by surprise. This movie does look fantastic though.

looks watch able and I like that they going full blown with the God angle instead of going the Noah route, where he was only called The Creator.

There should be loads of idiots who are frightened by this ranting here about this movie but it looks pretty damn good.

Regardless of its faith based roots or the fact that there are white men "everywhere", this looks like a blast to be had at the theatres

People saying "Hollywood will be Hollywood" is the problem. I refuse to watch this movie for the simple fact that yet again shits being white washed. I love how the people on this site a fine with white washing but shit a brick when Michael B. Jordan was cast as Johnny Storm. The same people pissed about it are the same people who in the same breath will fancast a white actor as a POC character.

@JavetinM Probably because there are only a very few people on this site who actually care about the bible and its characters. Much like how everyone outside of the nerd community got up in arms over white people playing Moses and Rhamses and no one cared about a black guy playing Human torch. Getting the best actor for the role is what should take priority over the character's race.

@yonny616

I agree with best actor for the job. This is why I'm in favor of Anthony Hopkins playing Martin Luther King Jr.

Actually, this looks like it might be pretty good.

And @JAvetinM, the ancient Egyptians were semetic, which is a branch of Caucasian peoples. Somneone has been feeding you a line of horseshit regarding ancient Egypt.

@frenchboy I couln't agree more, i mean is it that hard to find Egyptian actors/people of color to play the role of a person(s) of COLOR!.....no it is not. @Doopie Yeah unfortunately that is the case. I truly hate when people get upset when they cast a person of color to play an originally white character for the simple fact that its not like they have been doing that for a long time, i mean it doesn't even compare to how many times they cast a white person to play a black, asian, hispanic/latino, middle eastern, egyptian etc... and for the years that they have been doing that. Come on and give me a break. Honestly, its all about how can we make a white person look like a hero again becasue that's what we all suppose to be looking up to right? NO!. It's all about making white people feel comfortable when watching a movie, giving them someone or something to relate to because god(apparently white too) for bit we don't. They always want to be seen as the savior who saves people of color from destruction because we are incapable of anything when lets be honest and realistic here, they(white) brought the destruction(I mean let the record and history show). @JatevinM I couln't agree more once again. Most of the people that get upset when they, and rarely, cast a person of color replacing the white character and start to put negative comments and complaints all over the place/internet are indeed white....why? because they can't relate to, but of course there excuse will be; "but the original character in the comics was white" yes(i agree)....But Umm now tell me this; were the original people of africa, middle east, asia etc.. playing the roles of people of color, white? F<$K NO! so whats the excuse this time? I can go on and on but i won't to avoid any white uprising, any debates(which some may agree that i already did), any racist comments(because of course many are still very ignorant, closet racist and incapable of seeing the truth of how it has been in hollywood).
