10. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1(2010)
This was the first part of The Deathly Hallows film. This is the only Harry Potter film that does not take place at Hogwarts. It was a road movie. The threesome were traveling alone in the woods. They were searching for Horcruxes. In order to defeat you-know-who(Voldemort).

9. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince(2009)
This entire film was "DARK". I really felt the emotion of the characters. People died. There was CHAOS everywhere.

8. Prometheus(2012)
This film received mixed reactions. I really enjoyed it. It was a prequel to Alien. This film show the origins of the Xenomorph and Space Jockey. The ending to me is the best part.

7. Avatar(2009)
This film also received mixed reactions. But, you've got to admit that the 3D is beyond Amazing. It was LEGENDARY! This film told and showed us just how valuable nature is. The story is also great.

6. The Amazing Spider-Man(2012)
This is a reboot of the awful Raimi Trilogy. It truly is AMAZING!!! It perfectly mixes action, romance, and humor into one perfect movie. It also had an AMAZING cast.

5. Iron Man(2008)
This started the whole MCU. RDJ was perfect as Tony Stark. It had a spectacular supporting cast as well.

4. The Avengers(2012)
This was cinematic perfection! Perfect cast! Perfect EVERYTHING!!! Some of my favorite superheroes were together in one movie. OMG!!!

3. Star Wars Saga
These films were the perfect SciFi films. George Lucas did a great job. All six films are great.

2. Lord of the Rings Trilogy
I was so excited back in 2001 for these 3 films. In 2001, I had read the books. Peter Jackson did a spectacular job. Spectacular cast too! I cant wait for the upcoming Hobbit films!

1. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 2(2011)
This film was the conclusion to my favorite series. Voldemort was finally defeated! It was PURE EPICNESS!!! I will miss the Harry Potter films. :(

Honorable Mentions: Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Captain America: TFA, Thor, Superman, Alien, Aliens, Blade Runner, Sin City, Watchmen, The Patriot, The Godfather 1&2, Star Trek(2009), Twelve Monkeys, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and The Matrix Trilogy.

Leave your comments below. I will be happy to read them. I will write my next editorial soon. Remember guys, it's MY PERSONAL List. Looking at you PuyGuy and SotoJuiceMan. :)

Hey if that's what he likes good for him. It takes a lot to put any of the HP films up there in his list. After all it's Marv's favourites.

off the top of my head I'd put (not in any order)

American werewolf in London
Alien
The Thing (1982)
Godfather
Goodfellas
Avatar (even though it's a glorified cowboys and indians in space I still enjoyed the whole tree huggin/ connect with nature side to it)
Starwars V TESB
12 Angry Men (Henry Fonda)
Fight Club
American History X
The Matrix
Life of Brian (He's not the Messiah he's a very naughty Boy)

[frick] it that's 12! I'll have to go through my video/dvd/hd/blu-ray collection and see what I'd have as an actual top 10.

Not trying to stick up for anyone, but jf these are his favorite movies, then they are his favorite movies. Who is anyone else to tell him they cant be?

Also, only a few of those arw actually comicbook movies, so how can you honestly say this is a standard comic book nerd list? The Star Wars film, three Harry potter films, lord of the rings, none of those were comic book movies when they came out...

@ sotojuice

A lot of people feel the same way about Terminator. Myself included. So what if someone told you Terminator couldnt be one of your favorite movies and that you must be making that up? You would tell them to go eff themselves, right?

So why are you telling him that these cant be his favorites?
