The show only lasted eight episodes. That's too bad. I loved this show.

I remember watching the cartoon growing up, and when they came out with this show, I was ecstatic.

Then it was dropped.

I think that this lives up to the comic book as well as the animated series. What do you think? And do you think that we could do The Tick justice in a live action movie today?

We don't really see too many comedic comic book movies these days. It's all about the drama, like with the X-Men franchise, Spider-Man, and Batman just to name few. The last comedic comic book movie I can remember being made was The Mask (even though that was brightened up a bit from the original morbidly toned comic). I think that comic book movies these days are taking themselves too seriously. Not that it's an entirely bad thing. I just think it's time to step away from all the drama and lighten up a bit.
