hmmmm this is starting to get interesting. This and the fact Bagley has reminded me why Storm and Drake are cool might be a reason to pick up X-men after the reboot.

Artwork is great, but what the hell Wolverine's Son (WTF!?) with claws?!? God have mercy just create a new character, stop dry humping the Wolverine character to death, Marvel.

I'm not saying I ENJOY the Ultimate U, but it is CLEARLY a different universe. That being said, in this universe this kid is Wolverines son...not Dakken, so no, Wolverine doesn't have 2 sons.

EVERYBODY PLEASE READ THIS...

I'm sick and tired of this guy honestly! Jeph Loeb is washed up! The only books that he did that were decent were: Long halloween and Superman: For all seasons. My issue is he needs to stop writing books as if he still has a job for Heroes! I understand his writing took a dip since his son died and I'm sorry for his lost but man...

Dude needs to get to get it together right now. If you ain't shittin then get off the pot!Nobody is going to knock you for that but you've been given TOO MANY free passes! Did you guys now that Ultimatum was ORIGINALLY MEANT FOR SEASON 4 OF HEROES!?! That's why he got fired because when he brought the script in ppl couldn't believe this was true and he was dead serious! That's why they canned him! But what does he do? He comes to marvel and [frick]s up an amazing universe! not just one character, but [frick]s up an entire UNIVERSE!! I MEAN COME ON!!! He keeps escaping a beating because Art Arthur's pencilling (which is on point by the way...) but I'm not giving him anymore free passes! HE SUCKS! AND I'M GLAD ARRON SPENCER/JOHN HICKMAN ARE TAKING OVER THE ULTIMATE UNIVERSE! AND BRINGING BACK MY FAV TEAM ULTIMATE X-MEN!!!!! JEPH LOEB IF YOU READ THIS TAKE A SEAT OLD MAN AND FOCUS ON YOUR EXECUTIVE TV CRAP JOB THAT MARVEL MADE FOR YOU BECAUSE EVEN THEY KNOW YOUR DONE!

Blegh issue 5, how long is this going to take. Millar completed how many Ultimate Avengers books plus we are on issue 4 of Ultimayes vs New Ultimates.

Jeph Loeb is too slow, and his writing doesn;t impress in the Ultimate Universe. Pass

God. I can't believe the Ultimate Universe is still making books. It really should have ended with Ultimates 3 or Ultimatum.

Meh. The Ultimate Universe started off good with Bendis and Mark Millar behind the pen. Their work was a refreshing take on the Marvel Universe which, at the time, was growing quite stale. The writting was excellent and the characters releveant and grounded in our world.

Then the hacks came in. Warren Ellis, Robert Kirkman and others shat all over the universe, then Loeb came in and ruined it all with Ultimates 3 and Ultimatum. Its hard to believe the same guy who wrote Batmans Hush and Long Halloween, my favorite graphic novels, wrote what is perhaps the worst series of comics in history. It seems like he just phones it in with some of his books while writes with a fire and passion for others. Either way the Ultimate Universe is ruined.

Somebody please. Get a shotgun. Put the Ultimate universe out of our misery. It's drifted far away from its noble roots, as a slightly different universe more accessible to kids and newer readers into a sick and twisted cesspool.
