Vin Diesel gives us a little insight on which type of Comic characters he woud like to play.



Sounds like Vin is a Marvel man. I'm glad to see someone in Hollywood is at least interested in Sub Mariner, he is really an under rated character, Marvel's first Mutant.

What characters would you like to see Vin as? I would like to see him as Orion from DC's New Gods. I thik he would be perfect.

I heard he is a big geek anyway...

I think him for Apocalypse really nails it. Good pick, Nubnuts(though its hard to take anyone seriously with that name...)

I think you guys are ripping on Diesel a bit much here. He's not a brilliant actor, but he is suited for the roles he has. I honestly dont think most of you know a whole lot about acting. It's not as easy as you think. Trust me, i'm a theatre major.

Oh. dellamorte1872. I have a bone to pick with you. NOLAN isn't stupid enough to put Killer Croc into one of his movies. Killer Croc is too unrealistic. If NOLAN did, he would keep true to the character.

Vin Diesel isn't necessarily a bad actor, but like Jib7z said the roles he gets tend to fit his type of acting. I love the Riddick movies but i would personally not like to see him in any Marvel or Dc movies. But thats just me...

Personal he would have been a great fit for Venom. He has the voice and the body frame.Insteed they picked some weenie kid from that 70's show.

Many of you must NOT have seen "A Man Apart", if you had i think you'd give the man a little more respect as far as his craft goes.

If they did Croc maybe they would make him like the one from the Joker graphic novel, a buff mobster/hitman with bad a skin condition. That could work.

AWWWWWWW i can't watch it!!! : ( ... Anyway, he could soooooooooo pull off NAMOR! Though he'd have to change he's acting alot for the role! NAMOR'S just a mad person lol! An he has a right to be with us lot crapping the world up including the ocean! Love his RIDDICK movies, can't wait for more! Always thought he'd be the SILVER SURFER, but thats out now! Or DEADPOOL! Also out! How about a DC character like RAGMAN! Connected to GOTHAM and being a interesting an untapped, could be successful?! ( he's got the build an the voice ). ; )

Sorry Vin is an awful actor. In the same boat as Keanu only worse. How can any one actually defend this guy? He is a big guy which helps him for the roles he gets, but he is one of the worst major actors in the industry right now.

well, i think he could play any character that required a second rate actor with no range or real talent .....uhmmmm having said that....i'd give him 2 minutes as thug #2 in any other movie.
Vin Diesel as Namor is a sad, sad thought. Diesel is all wrong for that part. I'd like the part to be believable not just throwing a guy in because he looks tough.
Diesel as Silver Surfer would be like having Pee Wee Herman as Hannibal Lecter.
Probably not a guy i'd want in the Marvel fold, DC can have this guy.

He should be war machine in the next ironman. RDJ in make up could play Vin Diesel when his character is in plane clothes. Then when war machine puts on his armor, let Diesel be in the armor.

Namor blows. I dont ever want to see that.

Just thinking, how about Kilowog in the GL movie? He could wear makeup and I think his voice would be perfect. All it takes is to hear him say, "Ya, Poozers."

Just like Madsen in the cartoon.

y are so many of you ripping on Vin Diesel, he's a decent actor and Hawk i agree that the Riddick movies are good I own all three (animated included) I don't think anyone else could pull of Riddick, Riddick is to Vin what Wolvie is to Hugh they take those roles very seriously, they are making another Riddick movie Vin announced it at the new games launch. Also xXx is good I didn't even watch the second one cause Vin wasn't in it and now he is coming back for the third which I am very glad he is.

I I could see him as killer croc just for the fact that he has the build or maybe even Bane, I think Nolan would use Bane b4 Croc though because he is trying to keep his movies in our reality, but it sounds like Vin is a Marvel man so I think he should he be Apocalypse he has the deep voice that fits and he kinda looks like him in the face.
