Ben's gonna blow our minds with his comic book inspired take on the Dark Knight.

It's weird that you couldn't know, especially if you're in the buisnes. Even if you weren't looking at the internet for the past few weeks then surely someone would have mentioned it to you or you would have heard it in passing.

There are so many great images of Batman from the comics, why on Midgard do you guys insist on using Baleman's? It is over, we might as well start accepting that sooner than later.

Ben Affleck needs to direct the Justice League. He's leaps and bounds more adept than Zack Snyder. He's proved in the Town and Argo that he can do both and deliver unimpeachable quality of highest order.

Why is this news? Anyway, Affleck is going to be a terrible Batman and all these people who keep trying to talk themselves into thinking it is a good idea know Batman/Superman is going to crash and burn.

I know that Batman/Superman is going to crash and burn, but I also know that it will have nothing to do with Ben Affleck.

@ maninfinehat

So why do you think it is going to crash and burn?
maninfinesuit
maninfinesuit - 9/24/2013, 9:28 AM
@Forthas Snyder's direction, Goyer's writing, Cavill's acting. But certainly not Ben Affleck.

B&Y - I'd double that if I were you. People are still bitching about/ defending TDKR over a year after its release...

@ maninfinehat

While I would agree with almost everything except Cavill's acting, Ben Affleck is going to be a huge reason the movie falls flat. I recently saw Argo and it has not changed my mind about his acting one iota. If people are banking on Affleck to lend his directing talents, that is just inviting confrontation with Snyder which I predict will happen.

I think we are all missing the real point here, which is how much I want to be inside of anna Farris.

Its going to fall flat because WB let go of Legendary (the studio com[pany responsible for all the bad-assness of TDK trlogy) so that they can retain all profits. Now that are going create a movie full of "hooks" to reel the crowds in, sacrificing quality for profit.

Affleck has nothing to do with it.

@ MegaMatt

I think that WB has another finance partner, Dune. Also, I think that the production budget that is greenlit for this movie will be telling. The Dark Knight Rises was $250 million. If Superman/Batman is like $150 million or something, it will say to me that WB has doubts about the film.
