Jim Wuthrich has been upped to President of the Americas at Warner Bros Home Entertainment, overseeing physical and digital distribution of home entertainment properties, including games.

We know how Warner Brothers have more DC movies planned for release in the coming years, but what I am interested to see is if we are going to see more games and other content released for these, especially after the success of the Batman: Arkham franchise.

He is replacing Mark Horak, who will exit the company when his contract expires at the beginning of 2014. Wuthrich, who has been WBHE’s President of International since 2009 who worked on Warner’s push to become the first studio to offer its films on demand in China.

He will report to Ron Sanders, President of Warner Bros. Worldwide Home Entertainment Distribution, who announced the move today in an internal memo. Sanders added that the company will eliminate the President of International position.

I have been saying for years an Aquaman movie would be great.

I think either Guillermo Del Toro or Peter Jackson could pull off a great version of the world of Atlantis. Plus seeing as Peter will be done with the Hobbit he could do this movie next.

I think Sean Bean would make for an interesting Aquaman. I also think Lennie James would work for Black Manta.

That all being said I love how this topic got derailed. Now back on topic I hope this leads to more DC video games. I could see a Green Lantern & Flash game being pretty cool if done right.
