So hear it is a little over 5 months till the Avengers debut and we haven't seen anything about the plot or the villains (We all know Loki isn't acting alone). All this while Nolan is teasing the heck out of people and his movie won't come out for almost 8 months. Nolan doesn't even need to tease it, because of previous success with Batman, and he does because people eat it up. But, how can people really get into this movie when all they have seen is that the team will suit up together for first time? They really need to get people behind the idea of who the villains are going to be. And if all we are going to get is Loki then we will have to rely on these heroes that haven't really performed consistently.
Thor
I really enjoyed this movie and thought it was a great story.
Captain America
Sketchy in spots but overall a good movie. Hayley Atwell is very talented :)
Iron Man
Awesome movie, great villain, great hero, great story.
Iron Man 2
Some may disagree, but I think this movie was campy and rushed. I didn't believe in the direction the movie went. If Tony Stark was going to lose it he should have ended up in a strip club, making it rain. Not having a mid-life crisis and looking for his mommy. Then the last 5 min of the movie was awesome, but it was only 5 min. I love a good story but it needs to be an epic battle or the story was wasted. This movie had neither. Plus, we should have gotten over the whole “introduction” concept in the first one.
Black Widow, The Hulk, and Hawkeye
Word is that these guys are playing a small role in the movie so I guess they will have to rely on the heroes that were mentioned above. I guess this means that they will just sell the impact of the inevitable destruction. At least Renner got to scalp a stuntman with an arrow. Insert Skyrim joke here.

All this and a teaser that doesn't really make me excited. Why do I care? I love comic books and movies. I am ready to get behind this movie but I need more. I want to be coaxed into anticipation.
So this is my plea to the powers that be. Give us something else. Not just a bunch of actor's interviews about how awesome it's going to be or how they should have had more involvement in the finished product or who the rest of the villains are, but a real trailer. Something that makes me salivate for the awesomeness that will be the Avengers. I'm worried that this movie will be rushed because they can't get us a decent trailer released. If they can't release a trailer before mid January I think this movie will have some noticeable flaws.
