WWE Invades 2014's Summer Blockbusters With Their Own Unique Take On X-MEN And More

The clever folks over at WWE have inserted a number of WWE Superstar's into this year's summer blockbusters (not including Dave Bautista in Guardians of the Galaxy of course), and what we're left with is Days of Future "Yes!" starring Daniel Bryan and more...

I know a lot of you guys are WWE fans, so I thought you's enjoy seeing WWE's unique take on a number of summer blockbusters. X-Men: Days of Future Past becomes Days of Future "Yes!". Maleficent now puts the spotlight on WWE Management. Guardians of the Galaxy meanwhile becomes Guardians of the WWE Universe, though it still stars Dave Bautista in a leading role! WWE has their own film studio now (one of their next projects is Lockdown starring Dean Ambrose battling a group of corrupt cops), and with a Leprechaun reboot on the way - which was so well-received at Comic-Con it's getting a limited theater run - perhaps we'll see a comic book movie off them at some point! For now though, these will have to do. Which is your favourite?

However...

Grown ass men that watch wrestling are sad, sad excuses for human beings.

Remy, you might have given up too soon. John Cena just got decimated at Summer Slam. I can agree with nearly everything else you said though. It's weak compared to where WWF and WCW came from.

F*ck the Wrestling Haters of this site as you're All Wankers.

@DrLove1023

Yes, you're a grown ass man who reads COMIC BOOKS (Same as myself) anybody who likes something like Comics, Comic Book Movies, Harry Potter, Pokémon, Dr. Who, Transformers, Cartoons or anything else classed or considered as maybes being 'silly' etc, etc is quite frankly a hypocrite when they bash wrestling.

Live & let live people & let people enjoy what the F*ck they want.

As for the Posters, not bad, LOL'd at Khali being on the Guardians parody.

Theres great wrestling and theres terrible wrestling. Theres great comic books and theres terrible comic books. They're so similar when you really look at them. I enjoy both personally. I completely agree with what TMW1987 said.

How come wrestling fans are the most butthurt group of nerds there are?

When my buddies give me shit for reading comics I laugh it off, because that's what guys do, bust each others balls.

But tell a wrestling fan that wrestling is awful and they flip out and get defensive.

It's like they're to embarrassed to like something so corny to just respond "I like wrestling because it entertains me"

Man up

@TheRealRemyLebeau: Pretty much every point you make is incorrect. The only reason Cena won at MITB is because Daniel Bryan was sidelined with a career threatening injury and they needed a big PPV match for SummerSlam...which they got when Brock Lesnar decimated Cena in what was essentially a squash match.

The fact that you say they make no effort when their are phenomenal athletes like Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in the main event (who came up through ROH, etc.) is laughable. Also, the WWE only lost money because their new TV deal was 50% more than the last one instead of twice as much. That's still one hell of an increase, but not what they promises shareholders.

I guess you're a fan of the incredibly overrated Attitude Era where wrestlers had to cut their heads open to bleed or beat up women for shock value, and while what we have now is definitely tamer, we also have performers who are 100x more talented than the names that dominated that period (most of whom I'm a major fan of). :)

As for those of you taking digs at WWE fans on this site, I'd have to laugh even if I wasn't one myself. You realise you sound exactly like the people who say you live in your mother's basement because you read comics, right?
