Zac Efron Is Apparently Up For An Unspecified MARVEL Role

According to Latino Review, the Neighbors (or "Bad Neighbors" if you live on the other side of the pond) is being looked at for an unknown Marvel Studios project. Could it be for the Netflix Daredevil series? That's one possibility, but there are a few..

The latest scoop from the Latino Review boys regards Neighbors star, Zac Efron. It seems that the R rated comedy's performance at the box office (beating The Amazing Spider-Man 2 pretty soundly) has caused Marvel/Disney to take notice, and the site report that Efron is being "looked at for unspecified role in an upcoming Marvel Studios project." Apparently he was given a script for this project recently, but nobody has any idea what the part is, and his management are declining to comment. Keep in mind that Efron has been rumored for a few comic book type roles in the past and nothing has ever come of it, but he has admitted to being up for Star Wars, and there's no doubt the young actor's star is on the rise. So who might be be up for?

Well, since he has a script it'd presumably be something that'll be heading into production sooner rather than later, and that narrows the field somewhat: We have the Marvel Netflix shows (Daredevil? Iron Fist? ..Jessica Jones?), season 2 of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. (doubtful), and then the next big screen project we know Marvel have in the pipeline is Doctor Strange. Too young? Well, yes, but we don't know what the studio have planned for their movie incarnation of the Sorcerer Supreme. There are other options of course, but they seem the most likely. What do you guys think?
