Robert Knepper, best know for playing "T-Bag" in Prison Break, has joined the all star cast of Robert Schwentke's currently shooting adaptation of the Dark Horse comic R.I.P.D.

According to THR "Knepper will play one of the spirits, known as a “deado” in the movie’s lingo". No word on whether this spirit will be good or evil but my money's on the former. Knepper tends to be cast in antagonistic roles, his most recent was in the disappointing final season of Heroes

The Dark Horse comic R.I.P.D. is adapted by Universal Pictures with this fantasy crime film focusing on a newly deceased cop (Ryan Reynolds) who's drafted into a squad of zombie cops that battle the supernatural. Red's Robert Schwentke directs, with Jeff Bridges co-starring as his partner and Kevin Bacon playing the villain.

R.I.P.D also stars Ryan Reynolds, Jeff Bridges, Kevin Bacon, James Hong, Marisa Miller, Mary-Louise Parker, and Stephanie Szostak and hits theaters June 28 2013.
