GODZILLA VS. KONG Chinese Trailer Reveals Our Best Look Yet At [SPOILER] Entering The Fight

A new Chinese trailer (and poster) for Godzilla vs. Kong has been released, and this one gives us our best look yet at a third Kaiju we all know will be entering this fight. Check it out after the jump...

Godzilla vs. Kong stomps its way on to HBO Max next week, and excitement for the movie is at an all-time high (especially after those mostly very positive social media reactions).

Now, we have one final Chinese trailer for the crossover event which offers our best look to date at Mechagodzilla. Right at the end of this sneak peek, we see the massive Kaiju being activated; his dorsal fins are the first thing we see, closely followed by a sinister mechanical eye and a huge robotic foot.

How on Earth this "Mechagodzilla" is created remains to be seen, though we'd be willing to bet the movie ends with Godzilla and Kong teaming up to take on this metal monster.

With this new trailer comes a poster which doesn't feature Mechagodzilla, but does spotlight the two title Titans. Warner Bros. has done a great job marketing this crossover, and while it is heading to HBO Max, the hope is that it could breathe new life into the box office next weekend.

The cast of Godzilla vs. Kong includes Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Julian Dennison, Kyle Chandler, and Demián Bichir. It's set to be released on March 31st in the U.S., though it's simply "Coming Soon" in countries where theaters remain closed (it has been dated for March 26th in a handful of locations).

@Biggums - Remember when the white house actually figured out how much it would possibly cost to build a Death Star.

Watched it last night. I’ve never felt such a rush since Mad Max: Fury Road. The explanation for how Mechagodzilla comes to exist, is gonna be 50/50 for some people, I felt it made sense but try not to go digging into the logic.

The human subplot stuff is kinda still an issue, but far more easily forgivable in this film. The fight scenes feel less like a CGI brawl, but more of a well though out choreographed battle at times.

I’ll give the movie a solid 7.5/10 - had a really great time with it!

@Godzilla2000Zer - it’s a blast. I was scared Godzilla was gonna get sidelined until they caught us up with Kong and what he’s been up to, but nah both get the love!

@Se4M4NSt4ine - I was expecting them to focus on Kong a little bit more since this is his second film but glad to hear that they're both done justice now I just have to wait until Weds next week seeing it in IMAX.
