READY PLAYER ONE: Wade Watts Does Some Easter Egg Research In A Cool New Photo
As we get settled into February, expect to see a lot more from Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One and earlier this week, a brand new photo was released, featuring Tye Sheridan as Wade Watts. Check it out!
Following a few TV spots a few weeks back, Warner Bros. has now released a new still from the upcoming Steven Spielberg-directed film, featuring a new look at Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan) as he works on solving James Halliday's (Mark Rylance) epic Easter Egg Hunt.
The photo also contains a handful of Easter eggs of its own, including Watts' personal written instructions on how to solve the Adventure Easter egg, which is worth noting since it apparently has some role to play in the upcoming movie. We also get to see a ton of newspaper clippings about Halliday and we also see Wade's bicycle, which helps power his OASIS rig.

The film is set in 2045, with the world on the brink of chaos and collapse. But the people have found salvation in the OASIS, an expansive virtual reality universe created by the brilliant and eccentric James Halliday (Mark Rylance). When Halliday dies, he leaves his immense fortune to the first person to find a digital Easter egg he has hidden somewhere in the OASIS, sparking a contest that grips the entire world. When an unlikely young hero named Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan) decides to join the contest, he is hurled into a breakneck, reality-bending treasure hunt through a fantastical universe of mystery, discovery and danger.
