Tom Hardy Comments On Rumors He'll Appear In STAR WARS EPISODE VIII

Last year, rumours started doing the rounds that The Dark Knight Rises' Tom Hardy will make a cameo appearance in Star Wars Episode VIII, but has the British actor just confirmed those reports?

Last year, we heard that Tom Hardy may have landed a secret role in Star Wars Episode VIII. It was said that the time that he would be playing a Stormtrooper in the First Order with ties to Finn, and when The Hollywood Reporter recently caught up with the Dunkirk star, he played very coy indeed.

"I don't know if I can even say that. Where did you hear that?" he responded, only for the trade to then point out that the rumour was doing the rounds online.  "Ah, the internet is a glorious web of deceit and misinformation, isn't it?" Hardy joked before refusing to confirm or deny whether the rumours are correct. To that, he would only say, "It could be, couldn’t it?" So, he's in the movie, right?

Daniel Craig's surprise appearance in Star Wars: The Force Awakens was one of that movie's best surprises, so it's kind of disappointing that Hardy's has potentially been ruined. However, it should still be a lot of fun to keep an eye out for him, and who know, it may not be true! For now, time will tell!

In my opinion his performance in The Revenant was even better than Leo's. I'd love to see him in Star Wars

I could see him as a Darth Maul type Sith. Maybe even one of the Knights of Ren.

Fury Road starring Hardy was better than Rogue One & The Force Awakens.
