Things were looking really positive -- Tron: Legacy director Joseph Kosinski was set to helm a follow-up, with stars Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde returning as Sam Flynn and Quorra, respectively. The threequel was reportedly set to kick off production later this year, but The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Disney has elected not to move forward with another movie in the series. They say that a third Tron film was never officially greenlit, despite preparations being underway. Tron: Legacy gestated in development hell for over 20 years, and with this news just dropping, it looks like another follow-up will be a long away too. Are disappointed by this, or not too fussed by Disney decision?
