Adam Driver Faces Fearsome Prehistoric Foes In New 65 Super Bowl Spot

Studios have been sharing their "Big Game" TV spots ahead of the Super Bowl this Sunday (the likes of GOTG Vol. 3 and The Flash are being saved for the game, of course), and Sony Pictures has now debuted an exciting new promo for 65.

The 30-second teaser is mostly made up of footage from previous trailers, but there are a few new shots of Adam Driver's wayward astronaut, Mills, and his mysterious young companion (Ariana Greenblatt) doing their best to survive an onslaught of dino attacks.

We're still not too sure what to make of this one, but the premise is undeniably intriguing.

According to the updated synopsis: "Now, with only one chance at rescue, Mills (Driver) and the only other survivor, Koa (Ariana Greenblatt), must make their way across an unknown terrain riddled with dangerous prehistoric creatures in an epic fight to survive.”

65 was written and directed by A Quiet Place scribes Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, who also produced under their recently-formed Beck/Woods banner along with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness director Sam Raimi.

Check out the TV spot below, along with a new poster.

Looking forward to this but I'm nervous with there only being 2 people in this dinosaur world which would imply they're both going to survive or make it to the very end which lowers the stakes at hand a bit when it comes to "will they survive?"

Still, I wish it the best!

Adam Driver fighting dinos is one the most random ideas Hollywood has come up with as of late, but I do look forward to it. Gimme more of this stuff

@bkmeijer1 - it's about time they came up with a random idea ie something at least somewhat new.

@Ryguy88 - I mean we have had some great random ideas come out but many didn't do so well due to poor storytelling, actors, and just overall pacing.

@Ryguy88 @SonOfAGif - there's enough new stuff, just very little that is either a blockbuster or gets promoted a ton like this. I want more of that.

@bkmeijer1 - I meant among the bigger budget movies. It's nice to see them take risks sometimes.

Adam Driver sucks as an actor, and he's goofy looking. I hope those dinos eat his dopey a$$.

Now, I'm not knocking this; I just don't understand the fear factor when I feel pretty sure neither one of them are going to die for the vast majority of the film.

@LSHF - I'm gonna watch this because I expect to see yet another grizzled dad/annoying surrogate kid story. Don't expect anyone to die in those stories ever, so I am not gonna do so now.

Dino's are a good bonus though. Gives the dad/surrogate kid story something to set itself apart from the countless others though. Even if it's just a setting.

@bkmeijer1 - Well, that's a very valid view, and I "do" like dinosaurs, so maybe I'll catch it when it's streaming.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this.

@LSHF - always. I like dino's too (who doesn't?), so I'll take any opportunity to talk about or watch a movie with. Even if the stakes might indeed feel low (or high, if you're rooting for the dino's)

@bkmeijer1 - Lol. I suppose if I wanted higher stakes I could root for the dinosaurs. Thanks for the idea!
