Nepotism is not real. It is a product of thoughts you create. Now do not misunderstand me. Danger is very real, but nepotism is a choice. That's how that quote goes, right? Anyway, come see 2 VFX breakdown videos & 2 behind-the-scenes clips from After Earth.

As much as I'd like to say After Earth was a box office flop, it wasn't. Yes, the film performed poorly stateside, only grossing $60 million. But, the overseas markets went nutty for the film, as it grossed triple the domestic take, with a robust $183 million. Obviously, Sony was hoping for a better return on their investment, but at least it isn't Battlefield Earth. Personally, I thought it was one of the worst films I saw this year, but it wasn't the worst. That honor goes to, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone.

A crash landing leaves teenager Kitai Raige (Jaden Smith) and his legendary father Cypher (Will Smith) stranded on Earth, 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity’s escape. With Cypher critically injured, Kitai must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help, facing uncharted terrain, evolved animal species that now rule the planet, and an unstoppable alien creature that escaped during the crash. Father and son must learn to work together and trust one another if they want any chance of returning home.

AFTER EARTH is directed by M. Night Shyamalan, and the script was written by Gary Whitta and M. Night Shyamalan. The film stars Will Smith, Jaden Smith, Isabelle Fuhrman, and Zoë Kravitz.
