Aliens vs. Predator 2 Update

The sequel will start shooting next month and wrap up in December. Plus, there's a new title for the film.

The Aliens vs. Predator sequel (now called Survival of the Fittest) begins shooting Sept. 23 and wraps up Dec. 14.

F/X artists Tom Woodruff Jr. and Alec Gillis will return for the sequel. Shane Salerno's script has the title combatants duking it out in the American Midwest.

Colin and Greg Strauss will make their directorial debut.

The film opens Dec. 21, 2007.
