Only from Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemechkis could such a beautiful Sci Fi movie come from.

They dont make movies like this anymore. Hollywood stopped bringing boyhood dreams to life a long time ago.

Back to the future is one of the few films that I sit down and watch and I never get bored.

A remote controlled De Loriane that leaves flames behind after it has opened a time portal........It just doesnt get any cooler than that.

I would probably buy this, but I already own the Back to the Future DVD Boxset, and having the movies in slightly higher resolution isn't worth paying the 50 or so dollars for this.

Deathlock, well we're even then! That Love Liza clip you posted on my Punisher Review had me rolling.

Weneedrevalation..of course he would! Any of us would. We can't only post about the good cbm's or the ones we think the majority will only be interested in.

Rormachine is right. We would indeed cover a new Howard the Duck... as much as it would pain us.

I'm surprise with Hollywood not allowing new ideas to creep into the studio but only reboots, that they didn't reboot this movie.....yet

MarsAmbassador: That is EXACTLY what I was thinking! You look back on a lot of those 80's movies, and they were FUN. And CLEVER. And often, they were very, very funny. Back then, I went to the movies at least once a week if I had any money. That's what is missing in so many movies now- the spirit of fun.

Ed: Thanks for posting this news, and the clip of McFly punching out Biff. One of my favorite scenes in one of my all-time favorite movies. I also loved the sequels, especially the second one. Hey, what good comic or sci-fi geek doesn't love a good alternate reality storyline? I'm glad to see that a 25th anniversary set is coming out, and will hopefully allow a new generation to discover these classic films!

And thanks for standing up to those who are complaining that this isn't CBM news. To me, this site is like a big online comic shop, where we talk about all kinds of things that are of interest to a lot of us comic geeks. I hope this site never changes in that regard.

GeekMan: SSSSSSHHHH!!!!!! Don't give them any ideas!

Thanks, MarsAmbassador. Appreciated.

I agree about BTTF 2: what a brilliant sequel. I was so blown away by the notion of the second movie interacting with the first. Seemed pretty innovative at the time.. but then, I love the whole trilogy. I know a lot of people don't like BTTF 3 and its Western setting, but I thought it was great fun, made so by the incredible relationship between Doc and Marty.
