When it was first revealed that a Blade Runner sequel was in the works, many fans worried that it wouldn't be able to live up to the original (just look at the way Alien: Covenant disappointed). Well, with Denis Villeneuve at the helm, the signs are pointing to Blade Runner 2049 being a major hit!

Set thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years. This trailer sheds some light on that by showing off the villain's plan.

Blade Runner 2049 also stars Ana de Armas, Robin Wright, Jared Leto, Barkhad Abdi, Lennie James, Mackenzie Davis, and Sylvia Hoeks and is released next month. What do you think of this teaser?
