With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow [Donald Sutherland] in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale [Liam Hemsworth], Finnick [Sam Claflin] and Peeta [Josh Hutcherson] – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to liberate the citizens of Panem, and stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 is directed by Francis Lawrence and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Willow Shields, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Julianne Moore, Mahershala Ali, Natalie Dormer, Wes Chatham, Elden Henson and Evan Ross. The movie lands in theaters November 20.

Still not for me. Or at least not enough to go to the cinema. I'll probably be watching the whole series in two double features someday, at home, with borrowed blu-rays.

The concept behind this movie never made any sense to me. The Capital controls their people with fear. Where they take their children and make them fight to the death and televise it. In the real world this would never happen. This is the type of act that would most definitely make fathers, mothers, brother and sisters pick up guns and rebel. Not be obedient. If someone took my child away from me I would fight them on the spot. I would be shot dead but I wouldn’t stand there while my child was taken away from me.

@CAPTAINPINKEYE

Yet, children are taken from their parents all over the world. Children are taken from their homes in Africa to fight in rebel armies, children are taken from their beds in Europe and Asia and sold into human slavery and sex trades. These children have parents, parents that would die for them. But still it happens. It's not overly far from reality.

This is true. But its not the governments behind what you mentioned. It's Criminal elements that are taking these children. Or a nation in some sort of civil war. Then the parents run to the authorities for help. But in the movie their deaths are shown on TV for people to see. For the parents to see. They all know that only one walks away alive from the games. Being a parent myself this would just make me rebel against the government that is supporting this act.
