The Planet Of The Apes franchise has certainly managed to hit some extreme high's and low's over the years. That's bound to happen though considering the amount of sequels to the original plus it eventually being rebooted. Twice. Check out the embedded video below for a look at the original series, though to the abisimal Tim Burton reboot and then right up to the current reinterpretation of the franchise.  And be sure to subscribe to Mr Sunday's new channel, youtube.com/mrsundaymovies.  Spoilers for all released films.

Another great video MSM! Had to skip the majority of this week's podcast because I haven't seen TF4 yet. You and Mason talked about the Flash pilot this week but neither of you had seen it, if you want to see it, let me know.

Love the series. But it peaked early with the original.
Tim Burton's remake is worthless and stupid.

Love the new series very much- I like how even though its technically NOT it can almost be a prequel to the original.
Looking forward to the next one.

And I need to taste boobs today or ill die.

I love this franchise. My kids like the newest one, so I figured why not try the original. They loved it! Damn you all, damn you all to hell!!!

I may be the only one who likes the Tim Burton version. It was dark and edgy as hell. The new reboot is cool though. Those apes are about to wreck sh*%.

Burton's Apes had none of the Rod Serling genius the original had. I miss Rod and his great storytelling that left viewers thinking.

I wonder what the original writer/director vision might have gone with this next installment?

I had a hunch about the last Transtorners movie.

The hunch was "this movie is going to own the razzy awards this year"

I am a man who follows his hunches so I decided no to see "Transtorners Age of Explosions" and instead see XMDOFP in the theater one more time (this was mi sixth time for XMDOFP at the theater) and then I decided to pirate the shit out of Transformers. It turns out that my hunch was righ, I saw a pirated copy of transformers at home and man! what an awful movie!!!

Zero acting, Zero plot, Zero character development, Zero good dialogue bbuuuuuttt 100% xplosions an blowing s.hit, 100% bad jokes...

I am glad I spent my hard earned money on watching again DOFP than wasting it in that Crapfest from Bay

Dawn of the Apes is a film i've been looking forward to all year. I didn't care for Transformers and i won't see it, i'm giving my money to where it's deserved.

Poor Landon! You cut up his brain you bloody baboons!

I love this series, from Monkey Planet on down. They've really raised the bar with these later two flicks, and it looks to be leading directly back to the original.

Bang up job Sundy!
